Physical back checks

How we go about

We carry out face to face verifications at the respondent’s households-QC makes independent visits for physical back checks and makes unannounced spot checks while interview is going on

How we go about

We accompany the interviewers and observe them carry out interview from start to finish. When we accompany, we ensure we live the interviewing experince, observating how the questions are asked, taking note of responses form respondent and noting the interview lenght from section to section

Telephonic Validations

How we go about

We carryWe make telephone calls to respondents from the contact details provided by interviewers within the data-QC call from the office. This will be done on daily basis. We shall always investigate on interviewers who have multiple interviews without telephone contacts or telephone numbers not going through

Geo Localization

We trace and map respondent’s positions using google maps. For cases the GPS was not captured as usually is the case, we send a QC for F2F back checks when we want to be sure.

How we go about

We select eligibility sections of the questionnaire as well as key client questions and send to scripter to integrate silent recordings. With a team of well-trained QCs we track the work of all interviewers immediately the data is synchronized. This enables us confirm exactly how interview was conducted. We easily detecte areas interviewers don’t ask quetions correctly and therefore take necessary actions.

DATA FORENSIC CHECKS

How we go about

We keep a close monitor of the data as it is synchronized. We always carry out the following checks;
1.    Verify Interviewers daily performances. What is the number achieved vs. other interviewers
2.    Interview length for each interview vs. the average interview length as well as an interviewer’s average length.
3.    Find Time- what time does the interviewer use from one interview to another. Does this reflect the difficulty for the respondent criteria?
4.    Duplicate records for contacts, respondents, addresses.
